Why I made this

This is where it all started. I made this whipped tallow moisturiser for myself because I was tired of spending money on skincare that wasn't right for me. I wanted something straightforward that I could use every day.

I experimented with tallow, plant oils and essential oils until I had a silky, whipped cream. My friends tried it and wanted their own jars. Then their friends started asking too. Those first jars became the beginning of Thriving Valentine.

The texture and scent

A rich, whipped moisturiser for face and body, with ylang ylang and grapefruit essential oils. A little goes a long way, so start with a small amount.

• Rosehip oil
• Sweet almond oil
• Jojoba oil
• Coconut oil
• Ylang ylang essential oil
• Grapefruit essential oil
• Arrowroot powder

How to use

Apply a small amount to clean skin on your face or body and gently massage it in.

This is the moisturiser that started everything, and it's still the one I use every day.
